Triumph Road Bikes

Triumph, a long history.

Founded in 1902, Triumph is an iconic motorcycle brand and Bayride is proud to represent Triumph in New Zealand.

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer; it was established in 1984 by John Bloor after the original company Triumph Engineering went into receivership. The new company (initially Bonneville Coventry Ltd) continued Triumph’s record of motorcycle production since 1902. As of mid-2012, the company produced 49,000 motorcycles and employed 1,600 staff.

2017 Street Triple 765.

What a paradigm shift this all new model is. Takes Triumph sports to the next level. From the starting line up S model, then the R and the range topping RS, there is something to suit everyone. Even learners are catered for with the new Street Triple 660. Read more further down the page…

2017 All New Triumph Bobber

When we took the Bobber for its first outing we didn’t expect so much attention! Men, mainly, stopping to look at the Bobber cruising-by and photos being taken when parked up!
The Bobber 1200 is a joy to ride. Low revving motor with nice pulling power and a lovely exhaust note. It is what a Bobber is meant to be, stripped back and down to the essentials. Not a Moto GP replica, so don’t expect overly sensitive and massive brakes, just nice smooth and even braking feel, so too is the suspension, smooth and relaxed.
Couldn’t find much to fault unless we wanted a two-up tourer, a race-rep, an adventure bike, or a cheap commuter. The Bobber hits the mark perfectly, we enjoyed riding (posing) around town and cruising at just 2650 rpm at 100kmh on the highway.
At $20,990 we have another winner from Triumph Motorcycles, available now at Bayride Motorcycles.
