Triumph, a long history

Founded in 1902, Triumph is an iconic motorcycle brand and Bayride is proud to represent Triumph in New Zealand.

Triumph Motorcycles Ltd is the largest British motorcycle manufacturer; it was established in 1984 by John Bloor after the original company Triumph Engineering went into receivership. The new company (initially Bonneville Coventry Ltd) continued Triumph’s record of motorcycle production since 1902.

A state-of-the art technology feature for active rider safety, that delivers enhanced stability and improves both straight line and cornering acceleration and braking by ensuring optimum brake force, optimised slip rate and torque control. The cornering functionality is also supported by an Inertial Measurement Unit by Continental, that enables the appropriate ABS & Traction Control response by measuring roll, pitch, yaw and acceleration rates to continuously calculate lean angle.

 Street Triple RS

 Now with Up AND Down Quickshifter, even more power and torque!! The new benchmark-setting Street Triple RS is built on a winning formula of category-leading equipment and handling, with 9% more power and torque in the mid-range (over the previous RS), and a notable improvement in throttle responsiveness.

The Street Triple characterful 765cc triple engine is Euro 5 compliant with a more performance-focused feel, having been precision-upgraded by the same expert team who developed Triumphs Moto2 engine.
A smoother more refined gearbox has short 1st and 2nd gear ratios for exceptional Street Triple acceleration performance and slick gear changes. The higher precision machining has enabled the removal of the anti-backlash gears, which has reduced overall mass and added a higher level of riding refinement.

The new Street Triple brings sharper, more purposeful twin LED headlights that are whiter, brighter, more conspicuous and more aggressively styled. Add a more distinctive silencer with premium sporty carbon fibre finisher.
