The Prize

Yamaha Motor Insurance New Zealand Limited | The Yamaha
Insurance Rideaway
1. The promoter is Yamaha Motor Insurance New Zealand Limited (NZBN 9429045857638, FSP 556706), 58 Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki Auckland 2013 (“YMI”).
2. The competition is titled "The Yamaha Insurance Rideaway” (“Competition”).
3. The Competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 or over who are purchasing either a Comprehensive Yamaha Motorcycle Insurance and/or Yamaha Off-Road Rider Insurance
(either of these, “Eligible Policy”) (such entrants, “Eligible Entrants”). It is not open to anyone
else.
4. To enter the Competition, Eligible Entrants must, during the Competition Period purchase an Eligible Policy between 12:00am NZST on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, and 11:59 am NZST on Saturday, 31 January 2026.
5. Eligible Entrants receive 1 entry ticket to the draw per Eligible Policy purchased.
6. The Competition starts at 12:00am NZST on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, and closes at 11:59 am NZDT on Saturday, 31 January 2026 (“Competition Period”). Insurance policies purchased after the end of the Competition Period will not qualify for entry to the Competition.
7. All Eligible Policies purchased during the Competition Period will automatically be entered into the draw.
8. The Eligible Policy must be valid at the time of the draw.
9. The winning entry will be selected at random using a random list generator from all valid
entries received during the Competition Period.
10. The draw will take place at 10:00am NZST on Friday, 6 February 2026 at 58 Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013, New Zealand (“Draw Date”).
11. The winner will be notified via email using the email address registered on the Eligible Policy within 2 days of the Draw Date.
12. The name of the winner will be published via announcement on the Yamaha Motor New
Zealand Facebook page, the Yamaha Motor Insurance New Zealand website, and the Yamaha Motor New Zealand Instagram page on Friday, 6 February 2026 for a period of 28 days.
13. The winner is required to respond to YMI via phone or email within 14 days of the Draw Date to claim the prize.
14. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of the Draw Date, the winner will forfeit the prize and a redraw will take place using the same method as the original draw from the remaining valid entries (“Redraw”).
15. The Redraw will take place at 10:00am NZST on Monday, 16 February 2026 at 58 Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013, New Zealand (“Redraw Date”).
16. The name of the Redraw winner will be published via anno uncement on the Yamaha Motor New Zealand Facebook page, the Yamaha Motor Insurance New Zealand website, and the Yamaha Motor New Zealand Instagram page on Monday, 16 February 2026 for a period of 28 days.
17. The Redraw winner will be notified via email using the email address registered on the Eligible Policy within 2 days of the Redraw Date.
18. The prize remains the property of YMI until claimed by the relevant winner. If the prize is not claimed by Monday, 2 March 2026, the prize will be forfeited and will no longer be available.
19. The prize consists of a new MY25 MT07 LAMS (for a winner purchasing their Comprehensive Yamaha Motorcycle Insurance policy) or MY26 YZ250SP (for a winner purchasing their Yamaha Off-Road Rider Insurance policy). YMI will arrange for the prize to have one year’s complimentary registration and suitable insurance.

20. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or other alternatives unless stated otherwise. If a winner does not take a part of a prize at the time set by YMI, the winner will forfeit that part. YMI accepts no responsibility for changes in prize value. If a prize is unavailable, YMI will substitute it for one of equal or great er value, and the winner will be notified accordingly.
21. The prize will be delivered to the winner's address or can be collected from the Yamaha Motor Insurance New Zealand Limited premises at 58 Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland 2013, New Zealand.
22. YMI may request the winner to provide proof of identity and proof of residency over the phone or via email or at the nominated prize delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of YMI.
23. YMI’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Competition will be final and no
correspondence will be entered into.
24. Employees of YMI or their related companies or their family members, or any parties
connected in any way with the Competition will not be eligible to enter the Competition
(“Ineligible Entrants”).
25. Entries must be received during the Competition Period. Entries by Ineligible
Entrants and/or entries that do not fully comply with these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YMI accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, delayed, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries whether due to error, omission, alteration, deletion, destruction, transmission interruption, tampering, theft, destruction failure or otherwise.
26. If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned or if the
administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition is affected
for any reason, YMI may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, change or suspend the
Competition, except to the extent prohibited by law. Any changes to the Competition will be
communicated as soon as practicable by YMI. YMI may disqualify any individual who tampers (or benefits from the tampering) with the entry process or the conduct of the Competition or who has, in the YMI’s opinion, engaged in conduct which is fraudulent, misleading or generally damaging to the reputation of YMI or has breached these terms and conditions.
27. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, X or any other social media platform. Eligible Entrants are providing their information to YMI and not to any other party.
28. YMI and its associated entities or representatives are not responsible for any mistake, loss (including without limitation, consequen tial or indirect loss), damage, personal injury, or death which is suffered as a result of entering the Competition or accepting or using the prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law (and if so, that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
29. Please always exercise care when using motorbikes, both on road and off. Always wear a
helmet and suitable protective clothing.
30. In consideration for awarding a prize to the winner, the winner agrees to participate in any promotional activity regarding winning the prize and consents to their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition
(including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or
supplied by YMI.31. Eligible Entrants’ personal information will be collected and used in accordance with YMI’s Privacy Policy. In addition, by entering the Competition, Eligible Entrants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of conducting the Competition and distributing the prize, and to receiving commercial electronic messages marketing and promoting goods and services and/or other news, information and promotional material from YMI and its related entities, that YMI considers may be of interest 13505397.1
to them. Eligible Entrants may unsubscribe at any time from receiving such messages by
following the unsubscribe process specified in any such electronic message they receive.
32. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
