Taking your first steps into motorcycling?
Our Learn to Ride course provides a safe, supportive environment where you can build confidence and develop the fundamental skills needed to ride a motorcycle.

We can provide the use of a 225cc motorcycle, along with a helmet and gloves, so you can focus on learning without needing your own equipment or if you prefer you can use your motorcycle or scooter.

During the course, you will learn:

• Motorcycle controls and pre-ride checks

• Safe use of the clutch, throttle, and brakes

• Starting, stopping, and slow-speed manoeuvring

• Gear changing techniques

• Cornering fundamentals

• Correct use of indicators

• Observation and hazard awareness skills

• Basic road-riding preparation

• Prepare for the Basic Handling Skills Test (BHST)

ONE HOUR INTRODUCTORY LESSON An introduction to motorcycling with a relaxed, supportive one-hour training session designed specifically for beginner riders.  Your lesson starts with personalised coaching to help you build confidence and master the fundamental skills needed to ride safely. You'll learn motorcycle controls, balance, clutch and throttle control, slow-speed riding, braking and cornering.

1 HOUR ON ROAD LESSON Build your motorcycle skills and confidence with a personalized one-hour riding lesson. Ideal for new riders, experienced riders wanting to upskill, or anyone returning to riding after a break. Our experienced instructors will tailor the session to your ability and goals, helping you improve your control, cornering, braking, manoeuvring and overall confidence on the motorcycle.
