A new remote has to be memorised into your security system for it to operate - this is called 'code learning'.
The coding instructions can be found in your owners manual (which you can download from our website if yours is misplaced) or is detailed below.
REMOTE CONTROL CODE LEARNING
a) Disarm the system by remote or the override method described on the previous page.
b) Turn the ignition off/on 3 times leaving on third time. Siren will chirp.
c) Press the override switch for 5 seconds - siren chirps 3 times to confirm learning mode.
d) Press button 1 twice on 1st remote. Siren will chirp to confirm.
e) Press button 1 twice on 2nd remote. Siren will chirp to confirm.
Repeat this procedure if you have a third remote. Turn ignition off to complete the learning sequence.
Note: If you lose a remote, re-learning the existing remote will erase the one that is lost.
